    The Practice Ready Curriculum requires a minimum of 6 hours of credit of elective courses taken during the 2nd and 3rd year of the professional program. Students select electives based on their personal interests.

    Elective courses are focused on various topics related to specific diseases, patient populations, pharmacy areas, personal and professional development. Student may also take independent research focused electives. Example electives include 

    • Pregnancy and Lactation
    • Infectious Diseases
    • Diabetes
    • Acute Care
    • Mental Illness
    • Pediatrics
    • Geriatrics
    • Underserved Populations
    • Palliative Care
    • Oncology
    • Toxicology
    • Non-prescription Pharmacotherapy
    • Community Pharmacy
    • Consulting
    • Pharmacogenomics
    • Foundations of Leadership
    • Post-Graduate Training
    • Immersive Technologies
